Finally! I’ve been able to establish a consistent meditation practice, thanks to the guidance of Riikka and The Daily Nothing. With Riikka’s playful, poetic and profound daily messages I am inspired to stay focused on my meditation practice. I’ve been able to stay true to my commitment to clear a little space in my life, each and everyday… even if it is only 5 minutes one day or ten minutes the next. I have found that The Daily Nothing is actually a space for everything to exist. It has helped me to expand the spaces of quiet and contemplation in my day to day. Instead of feeling the overwhelming anxieties and worry that seem inevitable living in a big city like New York, I am experiencing myself as a more grounded, more accepting person who’s focusing on being truly thankful for the gift that life is. 5-Minutes A Day To Create YOUR Reality

Let me guess what is missing in your life. Nothing. Am I correct?
I mean, really, nothing is missing.

Your life is full. Your inbox is full of unread emails. Your calendar is full of deadlines. Your belly is full of your favorite food. Your mind is filled with your own thoughts and the thoughts of others. Your desk, your laundry basket and even your kitchen sink are full.

How do you start your day? Come on, you can be honest here. No one is listening. Do you open your computer? Do you turn on your radio or television?
Do you listen to your voice messages? Do you jump on a freeway with a hundred thousand other cars?

And you wonder why you can’t get anything done? 

And why every day feels like the day before,
when you go to bed but can’t quite figure out what you accomplished?
You wish you had achieved more and worse,
you didn’t get as much enjoyment from your day as you want to. Right?

Werner Erhard said:

One creates from nothing. If you try to create from something you’re
just changing something. So in order to create something you
first have to be able to create nothing.

I love that.

Are you here to create something original? 
Are you creating stuff from other stuff, or are you creating something unique,
right from the start, from scratch – from nothing?

Yeah, you know – those moments that make you feel like you turned into a firework.
Those bright, bursting creations are most likely the reason why you are here on the planet.
Your unique contribution can only be found in nothing. Do you know why?

Because no one else has access to that particular place of nothing – except you. That’s right.
This place belongs only to you and is home to your own personal blueprint.
This blueprint holds the key to your purpose, your well-being and your success.
No masks, veils or pretense are allowed here.
All the belief systems and conditionings are checked at the door.
This place is you in its most pure, authentic form.

This is the place I invite you to access. Daily.
And this is the reason why I have created The Daily Nothing

First, let me explain where I’m coming from.

Most of my life I have travelled around the world seeking answers from strangers, lovers, empty streets.

I have followed cults, outer gurus and rigid protocols, and if you have looked around this site,
you also know that for most of my life, I have doubted love and mistaken it to be something that it is not.

I wanted to end this madness.

I knew there was another way to live.
I knew there was another way to love.

I had been told millions of times that “all the answers are within.”
But no one really seemed to be able to explain to me what it meant to truly have the answers,
to truly trust that inner whisper within, 
to truly find peace and power within my own heart.

So I made a commitment to myself several years ago to discover that meaning by sitting
for at least 12 minutes each morning in a deep silence, my eyes closed.

I did this before I had my breakfast, before I brushed my teeth and before I opened my computer.

I did not expect that such a short time would make a difference in how I would feel and how I would show up in the world.

I certainly didn’t expect all the drama, chaos and confusion to fade away so effortlessly.

It was the yearning to know my Self that did it; the burning hunger for Truth.

Not the amount of minutes.

Today, I’m less anxious; my mind is calm and focused, and I feel inspired by life – all the time.
My creativity has increased. And most importantly, I’m starting to know myself,
this woman who I have avoided all my life.
This woman, who is the most important person in my life.
And guess what? I still meditate.
Sometimes 5 minutes feel like an hour, and sometimes an hour feels like 5 minutes.
It’s timeless and effortless. Kind of like breathing. 

And this is all happening because I chose to embrace “Nothing.”

You know, I wouldn’t have been able to do this on my own. No way.

I have been in a school for the past six years learning how to meditate, how to access my Spirit (blueprint) directly, how to be less reactive to life’s challenges, how to let go of limiting beliefs and instead, create my own reality.

Most importantly I want to be in the service of my vision, to be a bridge between doing and not doing, and to help you get started on this wonderful path; to make space that will allow your innate brilliance to come forth.

Because a personal experience is always the most powerful game changer, here is what I am offering:

The Daily Nothing has changed my life already, and we are not in the end of it yet. Here’s how: I loooove my nothingness!! Before I had to fill quiet times with noises- TV, radio, something.. now I sit in silence .. or do my stuff in silence. Don’t need the backround noice anymore. When I listen to something now, I really do it. I also feel more relaxed.. and can also relax more easily than before. And I feel more!! I learned about The Daily Nothing while in the middle of a stressful period in my life – one in which I was also trying to finish a creative project, but felt completely drained of the energy to do it. The Daily Nothing has become a priceless reminder for sacred stillness in my life.
